Danielle Nowlan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Intuitive Eating Counselor, based in Chicago, Illinois.
Danielle reached out to me because she was preparing to go full-time in her private practice, but her website had been “coming soon” for over a year. She knew she needed to brush up her online presence, and since website tech is not her forte, she sought help.
Throughout our process together, Danielle clarified her mission, her goals, and her passion for the work she does. We developed a brand and a website to match, and incorporated email marketing strategy so that her website can gather client leads on autopilot.
What we started with: An existing domain and “coming soon” page.
What I provided: New logo design, new brand identity (color palette, fonts, visual elements), brand strategy, custom website graphics, custom design, custom copy, and opt-in offer design.
What Danielle said about the process:
“Monica’s way with words and messaging is incredible - creating the copy was what always held me back from getting a website. [The final website is] just more incredible than I could have imagined. It evokes the sense of calm and warm fuzzies I realized (through Monica’s questionnaires!) I wanted, is not overwhelmed with words and images, soft and welcoming, and somehow conveys everything I'd hoped. This is the best money I’ve ever spent on anything for my business and/or professional growth!”
Danielle had an unfinished website with broken links:
We started her project by creating a new visual language for her business, along with a new suite of logos.

Opt-In Offer Design
Danielle created a free guide to start building her email list, so I designed and formatted it to fit her new branding.

Website Design + Brand Development
Krista Reinhardt-Ruprecht is a Synergetic Play Therapist™ and Art Therapist, based in Lafayette, Colorado.
Krista came to me in the midst of a big change in her practice; she knew she wanted to change her practice name, office location, and potentially expand into a group practice.
After discussing her options with me, Krista decided to go for it and rebrand her business with her group practice in mind!
The Nest Creative Therapy Center took shape as we explored Krista’s brand identity and clarified exactly who she wanted to serve at this new practice. Krista has a naturally playful, funny, and colorful presence; these are the things that make her a brilliant play and art therapist. I made sure to infuse the same sense of fun, play, and color into every aspect of her project so that her visitors can feel her charisma - just by visiting her website.
What we started with: An existing website & old domain on a different platform.
What I provided: New logo design, new brand identity (color palette, fonts, visual elements), brand strategy, custom website graphics, custom design, custom copy, and a new, custom domain.

Filtering Light Counseling
Kim Zeszutek is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Portland, Oregon, and she came to me after a frustrating experience with a web developer. We started fresh, and I designed her a clean, simple website that communicates directly to her ideal client while also conveying her grounded, fun personality.
“I had known and respected Monica’s work since we met as counselors. Her vision and awareness of what a counselor wants to portray was very important. The process of working with her was easy and fun! The finished product is beyond my expectations.”
What we started with: An existing site on a different hosting platform, an existing logo, existing headshots, and some existing copy.
What I provided: Branding development (new fonts, color palette, and logo reframe), custom copy, template and custom design, custom sacred geometry supporting imagery, and basic editing on all photos.
Allyson and I started working together after she had established a great foundation to her website. However, she was struggling to write concise copy and stick to consistent visuals.
We worked together to identify exactly who her ideal client is, and how best to reach her. After we developed a visual brand to communicate directly to her ideal client, the scattered pieces of her website and business fell into place.
“Oh my gaaaash, if you could only see my website before Monica helped me, because she transformed it. Oddly enough, I was actually learning about affective marketing and yet I was having a hard time actually applying it to my website. Monica brought it all together and to life.”
What we started with: An existing logo, an existing website, copy, and images.
What I provided: A logo reframe (tweaks to the existing logo to clarify and elevate), brand development (color palette, fonts, textures, and photography assets), brand identity (ideal client identification & strategy coaching), and copy editing.

What I provided: Branding development (new fonts, color palette), custom copy, template and custom design, custom supporting photography (as seen in banner images), and basic editing on all photos.
